Museum pass: Elmwood Park Zoo.
Elmwood Park Zoo currently maintains a collection of over 100 species that hail from all over the globe. Highlights of the collection include giraffes, zebras, bald and golden eagles, jaguars, and red pandas. A number of species in the collection are managed pursuant to an international SSP (Species Survival Plan) These programs aim to maintain and increase the size of animal populations that are under the largest threat of extinction. Other species in the collection represent significant wildlife conservation success stories, such as the American bison, peregrine falcon, bald eagle, and American alligator. Location of Elmwood Park Zoo: 1661 Harding Blvd, Norristown, PA 19401.Phone number: 800-652-4143 One museum pass per adult Parkland library cardholder. Cardholders must be residents of the Parkland School District or any paying non-resident adult cardholder. Pass allows for admission for 2 adults and up to 6 children. Pass must be presented at the time of admission. Pass cannot be photocopied or combined with any other offer. Pass circulates for 1 week and cannot be renewed. Pass must be returned in the envelope and cannot be returned in library book drops. Pass is available to anyone with a valid adult Parkland Community Library card who lives in the Parkland School District or any paying non-resident adult cardholder. Fines: $10.00 per day late fee with a maximum fine of $70.00. Replacement cost: $300.00. |
